Nnamdi Uzuegbu

Founder & Lawyer

Nnamdi Uzuegbu is a Nigerian lawyer whose practice spans commercial litigation, contract drafting and advisory, real estate, and sports law. He appears in Nigerian courts and advises clients across the full contract lifecycle—structuring, negotiation, and enforcement—with particular experience in tenancy and hotel management agreements, joint ventures, share transfers, sponsorships, and complex service arrangements. His drafting is known for clarity, precision and practical risk allocation

Nnamdi’s sports law work focuses on sports integrity including anti-doping. He serves as an administrative reviewer with the National Anti-Doping Agency of Nigeria (in a volunteer capacity) and previously completed an internship with World Sailing. He has earned Sports Integrity Australia badges and regularly analyses WADA frameworks, disciplinary procedure, and safeguarding in sport. Beyond advisory work, he manages Phoenix Queens FC, a semi-professional women’s team in Abuja, overseeing governance, sponsorship, and player welfare.

An engaged commentator on law and sport, Nnamdi writes as a weekly guest columnist, with pieces on anti-doping, football governance, and the business of sport. He brings the same disciplined, evidence-led approach to his writing as to his legal practice—translating technical rules into plain English for decision-makers and the public. He is developing a cross-border practice. Colleagues and clients value his measured advocacy, commercial sensibility, and ability to craft solutions that hold up both in negotiation rooms and in court.
